Camp condition:
We camped at Lake Susie. There were many nice, flat, cleared spaces around the south side of the lake.
Camp description:
No officially designated campsites, but plenty of clear spaces for camping.
Trail description and other notes:
Clear trail for most of the hike, small amount of scrambling toward the top. Very rocky trail. First 4.5 miles are quite strenuous uphill hiking, but the view on Mt. Tallac makes it completely worthwhile! The return to the car is all downhill and fairly easy. Recommend doing a car shuttle to the Glen Alpine trailhead - they are about 20 minutes apart by car.
