Driving directions: Take Interstate 280 and exit at Route 92 W/35, then take Canada Rd S for a couple of miles.

Description and other notes: This beautiful hike in the the Northern Peninsula allows you to enjoy 3 spectacular lakes along San Andreas Fault, the glorious views of the San Francisco Airport and all urban area surrounding it, the Bay and the Ocean. However, you have to set up carpooling details. you can leave a car at 2100 Beach Blvd, Pacifica, CA, and proceed to Edgewood Park. You will cross over into Edgwood Park to the west of 280 along an unmarked trail, take Edgewood Trail to Canada Rd, turn right on Crystal Springs Trail, then about a mile along Skyline Blvd (walk safely), Sawyer Camp Trail, Back on Skyline Blvd, turn left on Sneath Lane, enter Sweeney Ridge Preserve and walk up along the paved Sneath Lane Trail to Portola Discovery Site. Turn right on Sweeney Ridge Trail, then left on Mori Ridge Trail down to Shelldance Nursery, and then reach the waiting car along city streets.
