From Interstate 680 in the Alameda County, exit Mission Blvdd (exit 12). Drive northeast on Mission Blvd to Stanford Ave, and turn right. Drive about 0.5 mile to the end of the street.

This is a very popular hike in the Bay Area. Actually, it could be the most popular in the South Bay. You will be surprised how crowded it could be during weekend. A very good description of this hike can be found at

. If you want a longer hike, start with Mission Peak and continue on Ohlone Trail for up to 20 miles.
