Trail condition: Very good.

Description and other notes: This is a moderate hike, if you plan to do it from Tioga Road and back. Don't forget to stop at Indian Arch. This hike can be extended further to Yosemite Valley via Yosemite Falls, if carpooling arrangements can be made. In late spring and early summer the falls are impressive. However, in late summer and fall, the waterfalls can be completely dry. For die-hard hikers, the trail can be reversed, starting in Yosemite Valley and arriving at Tioga Road, in which case the cumulative elevation gain is approximate 5000 feet.
